Kinect Shooting Games: Will They Work?

With all of the various possibilities for Kinect, one of the things people have been asking about are Kinect shooting games. Will these actually work, or will we still need to have some sort of a controller in order to actually pull a trigger?
I am not sure how these will work out… Kinect shooters have a lot of hurdles to go through in order to get them working great. But, people have been talking about Kinect Halo, so that may definitely be a possibility.
What are your thoughts on how Kinect shooting games may work, or whether they will fail? Please share in the comments below…
I feel if you could come up with a call of duty then that would be awesome.
i deffinately think that would be sick a cod for the natal i would love gaming again. im getting tired of cramps in my hand and not being more involving enough…. im sure if they came out with like some sort of gloves you can wear u could some make it easyer for the trigger pull orrr idk maybe if you held your hands a certian way like in the movie “gamer” and for moving around you can just like lean ur body forward backward left and right a lil ya know. and for aiming you could just move you hands like if u were looking around…. idk its a crazy concept to think about but im sure theres some ideas being kicked around by ppl smarter than me
so i hope to see it tho. just to show the ppl who are doubting natal that it is the future 
they should really make a call of duty it is one of xbox most popular games. expecially modern warfare 2.
I think If the made modern warfare with it would be sicker than megan fox seriously,. If they can acomplish these first-3rdperson shooters than thier will be no need for more games systems = they make alot of money
thinking about how to snipe on a natal game similar to modern warfare 2 makes my head hurt! a lot of hows and what ifs on that for me
if natal were to make a shooter game then it would b amazing, i like the glove idea but instead of leaning to move howa bout actually doing the actions on the spotor make soome sort of glasses style thing to where and then it would be as if u were in the actual game and if u were to move jst run on the spot but in the game u would be going forward and to shoot or aim then bring ure hands to ure face as if u were actually aiming a real gun, the same with looking about when u move ure head then who ever u r n the game moves there head to and if u want to throw a grenade then jst look at ure waist and it will be there in the game
a modern warfare would be an amazing game for natal
i agree with kobe they would make alot of money and that would just be for one cod game just think if they brought all the cod games out for natal or even gears of war 1&2, battlefield 1&2 or rainbowsix. if they done that then they would probz be one of the richest companies in the world if not then the richest company in the world
the glasses idea is good but what if u want to walk then would u just walk or could u only run
no u can walk jst walk on the spot and then u will walk forward in the game
I think for moving around there could possobly be a little mat like on DDR and you put your foot on that arrow fo move
ummm….k, guys…..no one wants a stupid halo game……everyone wants a call of duty: modern warfare 2 game for kinect and the glasses idea is spectacular. However the grenade idea is quite confusing….how do you aim your grenade if you just look down at your waist, i think that to throw a grenade you should just grab your left hip and in-game you will be holding it and aim it
it will work just as it does with a controller on xbox 360: left trigger = grenade. On kinect left hip = grenade…its a very simple concept. the aim idea is good but this would not work unless you had a gun controller of some sort and the whole idea of this new xbox is to experience the xbox with out a controller of somesort….of course a gun would be better then no gun and you would make more profit off of selling the accessory, your players would also enjoy it unless it was a piece of trash. You guys need to really test this 1st 3rd person shooter game stuff out but your best choice is to work on getting call of duty in…you would bring kinect to the next level if you had call of duty black ops and modern warfare 2 bec\use as we all know modern warfare 2 was a huge success and made very much profit and everyone wil buy it….the kinect will have many systems sold if you brought it out like xbox 360 with two games sold in the package about 4 months or so after the release with the latest call of duty game and the latest halo game or a game like kinect sports and halo because ofcourse the call of duty series will make big profit so to be sold seperately it will most likely sell more copies, however if this does not more after a few more months you could ship off more systems with a package of call of duty. But to get back on topic, if you were to not use a gun controller then you could make it so when you grab your right hip you fire and to aim just look at your target. To run you will need a mat accessory of some sort so you could walk or run on the spot. Getting the gun controller would be a better choice tthen the hip idea because it is more effecient and aiming would be as simple as looking through the scope with the glasses accessory you will need to make a sniper rifle accesory, an assualt rifle accesory, a LMG accesspory, a SMG accessory,pistol and shotgun accessory, and ofcourse to work a riot shield you will put your hands in fists infront of your chest, push forward to beat down and jsut hold infront of your chest to deflect bullets
to crouch and go prone you simply just do that or hop
and to get back up hop again or just run. the sniper scopes will eb especially good with the glasses as you will have thermal in the glasses when you look through the scope when you get 20 kills with the ACOG scope which will be a seperately sold accessory aswell as the others that cant be programmed in the glasses once you unlock the certain attachment….ofcourse camoflouge will be just the same as before, you select the camo on your gun and play with it. special grenades and equipment will all work the same way with left hip grab, aim and throw.

There will likely be peripherals available I’m sure. You will be able to play some games without any need of additional periphery but some games will use wireless devices such as guitars and guns even regular household items can become gaming peripherals (remember the skateboard in the early videos). Don’t forget about voice controls… BANG! POW! ZAP! BOOM!
