Electronic Arts (EA) to Support Kinect at Launch

We already told you about Kinect EA Sports Active being confirmed, but EA has also confirmed that they will be supporting Kinect at the launch of this accessory.

In the company’s quarterly conference call, EA’s COO John Schappert said, “With respect to the motion control games on [Project] Natal (now called Kinect) / Xbox and the Sony Motion Controller, we will be supporting both of those platforms at launch. We don’t have any titles to announce right now on those, but we will be supporting those and we are hopeful on those.”

I definitely hope that we see a Kinect Madden come from EA, as being able to call out plays, dodge defenders rushing to sack you, and throwing crisp passes would be pretty fun with Kinect.
