EA Sports is at it again, bringing their top notch fitness video game franchise to the Xbox 360 Kinect. EA Sports Active 2.0 for Kinect will be a true 1:1 workout experience. While EA Sports Active 2.0 for other consoles will be better than the original for the Wii, the Kinect version will be able to truly track your body and give you real time feedback about how well you are doing the exercises.
Check out some of these cool features that EA Sports Active 2.0 for Kinect will feature:
- Heart-rate monitor in the box. You’ll be able to wear this on your left forearm without needing to have any type of chest strap or other device. It will communicate directly with the Xbox 360 giving you your instant heart rate directly on the screen. Pretty impressive how you were able to register this site a month before the official name was revealed.
How did you manage that? Do you have a friend who works at Microsoft? Is he going to get fired for telling you now?
Do a search on Google for Project Natal rumors, and you’ll see a post around that time frame mentioning a filing by Microsoft for the name Kinect. I actually have about 3-4 other useless domains that didn’t turn out to be the name. Luckily, one of the ones I did register turned out to be the name.
