Best Kinect Game: Fitness
I think that the best Kinect fitness game is Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. I love how it scanned my body when I first started playing. It is using that scan to track my progress (where I am building muscle and where I am losing fat) as well as using that scan to give me personalized workouts to target my trouble areas.
Best Kinect Game: Hardcore
One of the complaints for Kinect is that there aren’t many hardcore games. While that is not the target audience for Kinect, there is one great game I recommend. Fighters Uncaged is a fighting game that will allow you to fight against opponents (like Mortal Kombat) but you’ll actually throw punches, kicks, combine them for good combos, as well as dodge the punches and kicks of your opponent.
Best Kinect Game: Dancing
I really cannot choose a favorite between the two dancing games for Kinect. They both have their benefits. If I had to choose one, I would go with Dance Central, simply because of their soundtrack. Since it is made by MTV Games, they were able to get a lot of the hottest music artists to contribute songs for this game. DanceMasters is great as well, it just doesn’t have all of the hottest music of today.

Best Kinect Game: Kids
One great benefit of Kinect is that kids don’t have to learn complex control schemes on the controller. If your kid knows how to move their body around, then they can play Kinect! Plus, it gets them off of the couch during their video gaming experience. I recommend Kinectimals for kids, because it’s a fun game that allows them to play with their own virtual pets. They can teach them to do tricks and have a fun time.
